The multi-feed sensor detected the double document feeding.
<User Check>
• Set a document within the specified size.
• Adjust the document guide according to the document width.
• Check that the document is not damp.

Replace the multi-feed sensor PCB ASSY
(Receive).
Replace the multi-feed sensor PCB ASSY
(Transmit).
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
Cause
Reconnect the multi-feed sensor PCB flat cable
(Receive).
Reconnect the pick-up motor harness.
Replace the multi-feed sensor PCB ASSY
(Receive).
Replace the pick-up motor.
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
