16.6 Tare setting

This function enables to measure gross weight of a sample placed in a container of a known weight value
(stored in the memory) and to display calculated net weight of the sample. Tare value is recalled from the
memory with
T
key when the pan is empty. Tare value may be entered using keypad or by putting
container on the pan.

- Activation – activate tare,
- Tare from scale – inscribing actual indication
as tare,
- Tare value – value inscribed by keys,
- Shortcut - fast access key selection: F1,
F2,... or F5.

Put an object on pan and press shortcut key
(chosen earlier) to Tare setting application eg.
F2.
