5. Adding detergent
 Close the lid and press it firmly shut.
 Close the detergent drawer.
The capsule is opened by the act of
inserting it into the detergent drawer.
The contents can run out of the cap-
sule if you then remove it from the
capsule drawer before it is used.
Dispose of opened capsules.

The wash programme will dispense the
contents of the capsule at the correct
time.
When using CapDosing, water intake
to the  compartment takes place
solely via the capsule.
When using capsules, do not add ex-
tra fabric softener to the  compart-
ment.
 Remove the empty capsule at the
end of the programme.
For technical reasons, a small amount
of water will remain in the capsule.
Deactivating or changing CapDosing
CapDosing can only be deactivated or
changed prior to the programme start.
 Touch the
CapDosing
and disable the selected capsule op-
tion.
External dispensing
The washing machine is pre-equipped
for connecting to external detergent
dispensing systems. A separate conver-
sion kit for external dispensing systems
is required. This must be fitted by Miele
Service or by a Miele Service dealer.
