- Page 21 Installation of the Option Board Push the locking mechanism on both card guides to the unlocked position as shown. Figure 2-2: Unlock CPU board Slide the CPU board out of the enclosure. Use the 1/8" flat-head or flat-blade screwdriver to unscrew the two Acquisition board cable screws. Disconnect the cable and remove the CPU board from the enclosure.

Use the Wiring Diagram Card C-15470 provided as a reference. Install the Option board on the CPU board making sure that the connector on the bottom of the Option board mates to the connector on top of the CPU board.

Use a hex driver to remove the nut that attaches the Wiring Diagram Card. Remove the old card and install the new card provided with the Option Board Kit.

Push the locking mechanism on both card guides to the Locked position as shown to secure the CPU board. If the mechanisms do not move over, make sure the CPU board is fully seated in the enclosure and try again.
