6 - WORKING OPERATIONS 6 - WORKING OPERATIONS###_6_### General information Description of operation Working principle NOTICE: Adhere to the maximum permissible axle loads and total weights. NOTICE: When you drive the implement and turn, take note of the width and of the change of the center of gravity of the implement.
6 - WORKING OPERATIONS Basic adjustment NOTE: If you need to drag crop material outside swath to the rear and toward the center, reduce number of revo- lutions of the tine arms assembly and move forward the cam track. Working width adjustment Do the working width adjustment only when the implement is not in operation, and rotors are lifted and locked in trans- port position.
Page 56
6 - WORKING OPERATIONS Cam tracks setting NOTE: The implement can match in different conditions of forage. Set the cam tracks so as to vary the moment at which the tine arms assembly are lowered and lifted outside swath. NOTE: An adjusting spindle is provided under each rotor on the right-hand side to match the different forage con- ditions.
Page 57
6 - WORKING OPERATIONS Lateral tilt setting NOTE: An eccentric bolt (1) secure the right-hand side support wheel of each rotor which allows to match the implement to different types of crop. NOTE: Only a trained person can set the lateral tilt. To move the support wheels outside central position (fac- tory adjustment) do as follows.
6 - WORKING OPERATIONS Conversion of the rake from transport to working position Introduction NOTICE: Only an authorized specialist workshop can as- sembly the implement. For the shipment some components of the implement are not install on the implement, like several tine arms assem- bly, parts of the safety guard and warning panels.

NOTE: Install the universal drive shaft between the tractor and the implement in a way that the wide angle joint (dou- ble universal joint) is under the pivot of the implement.
7 - MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE###_7_### General information Maintenance General information WARNING Avoid injury! Follow ALL of the precautions listed below. Failure to comply could result in death or se- rious injury. W1091A NOTICE: Do the maintenance, the service, the cleaning, and the repair with the Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft and the engine OFF.
7 - MAINTENANCE Torque Minimum hardware tightening torques (in N m or lb in /lb ft) for normal assembly applica- tions unless otherwise stated The minimum hardware tightening torque on drawings, in specifications, etcetera have priority. In the following tables, torque specifications are shown following the standard ENS7001, applicable for material class 8.8 and material class 10.9.
7 - MAINTENANCE Torque for class 12.9 Bolts of quality 12.9 are used on the implements. Make sure to use the same type of bolts and nuts to replace bolts and nuts of quality 12.9. It is easier to torque bolts and nuts to correct value of torque if you lubricate bolts and nuts with oil.
