SETTING THE SLEEP TIMER BASIC OPERATION

The unit can be turned off automatically at a specified time.
Use
the remote control.

Pressi the SLEEP button while pressing the SHIFT
button.
~? WithinA seconds, press the + or * button
to specify the time-until the power is turned off.
Each time the button is pressed, the time changes between 5
and 240 minutes in 5-minute steps.

Preparation
Connect the supplied stereo turntable to the main unit. (See
page 4)
Set the EQUALIZER AMP. selector on the turntable to ON
position. (Refer to the operating instructions of the turntable
for details.)

Press the PHONO button on the main unit.
PHONO appears on the display.
Adjust the volume to minimum.
Turn the VOLUME control counterclockwise until "VOL O is
displayed.
Play the turntable.
Refer to the operating instructions of the turntable for details.
Adjust the volume accordhtg to your preference.

check the time remaining until the power is turned off
Press the SLEEP button once while pressing the SHIFT button.
The remaining time is displayed for 4 seconds.
To cancel the sleep timer
F>ress the SLEEP button twice while pressing the SHIFT button
so that "SLEEP on the display disappears.
