5. Tool – This options opens the DT Archiver application. This option allows
file compression and decompression of the UX5000 IP terminal
information. Refer to
6. Help – Displays the version information of IP Phone Manager.
7. Select ALL – The Select ALL button on the home screen selects all
discovered terminals.
8. Clear ALL – The Clear ALL button of the home screen unselects all the
terminals that have been preselected on the home screen.
9. Quit – Quit is used to terminate all communication between IP Phone
Manager and closes the application.
If the IP addresses for the terminals are not acquired from the DHCP server, enter the IP addresses
manually into the application. The IP Phone Manager is not able to communicate with the terminals
if there is no setting or port number. The information can be retrieved after entering the address.
When an IP terminal is disconnected from the UX5000, the connection with the IP Phone Manager
is lost and connection and/or retrieval of terminal data is not possible. The Search frequency should
be set to two more more times in order to locate a recently connected terminal.
Neither NAT nor a WAN environment is supported.
The IP Phone Manager can support up to 256 terminals.
If multiple copies of the IP Phone Manager are used on the same local network, the applications
will open and the retrieval of data for the same terminals is possible. However, login cannot be
performed for a terminal currently connected to another IP Phone Manager.
Firewall software may require the port to be opened to allow the IP Phone Manager to function.
