Check
Brake operation for holding and releasing
Visual inspection of the load chain
Suspension of the pendant station
Cleanliness and lubrication of the chain
Torque limiter operation
Measure for wear on the chain
Measure for wear on the hooks
Tightness of the load block screws & nuts
Check the suspension hook/coupling locking plate screws
Adjustment of the limiter and hoist brake
Lubrication of open wheel gearing
Tightness of wire terminal screws and terminal connections
Lubrication of the load block idler sprocket
Tightness of all screws to Screw Tightening Torque
Specifications and check for signs of corrosion.
Clean motor cooling fins
Lubrication of the gears
CAUTION! These intervals shall be shortened if the hoist is used heavily with maximum
loads or in extreme ambient conditions.
