4.2.3 Line Speed Adjustment
14: Process Speed Setting
Adjust the machine's copy/print speed.
When using paper of poor fusing quality, set this to "Low". By slowing the
copy/print speed, you can enhance grip.
However, if this is set to "Low", the maximum continuous copy/print speed will drop
from 90 to 70 cpm.

15: Paper Transfer Feed Speed Adjustment
Adjust the speed of the transfer roller.
Because of environmental changes, the paper transfer roller may expand or shrink,
resulting in a change of paper feed speed and uneven thickness or jitter*1 at the
trailing edge of paper. If this happens, adjust the speed of the paper transfer roller.
However, as a possible side effect, any image scaling error may be increased.
Press [+] or [-] to adjust the speed.
Paper Transfer Feed Speed Adjustment
*1 The shock produced when the leading or trailing edge of paper passes through the transfer unit
is transmitted to the drum unit via the immediate transfer belt, causing banding in the development
unit.
16: Fusing Feed Speed Adjustment
Adjust the speed of the fusing roller.
When using paper that tends to be marred by glossy lines or horizontal creases,
you may solve the problem by adjusting the speed of the fusing roller.
Press [+] or [-] to adjust the speed.
