Oillevel monitoring system
Depending on the order specification, the gear unit can be fitted with an oillevel monitor in the form of
a levellimit switch, which should comply with the requirements of Directive 94/9/EC. This device monitors
the level of the oil when the unit is at a standstill i.e. before it is started up. It should be wired in such a way
that, when the signal "oil level too low" is given, the drive motor cannot start and that an alarm is given.
During operation, any signal should be bridged.
If an the oillevel monitoring device is in use, it is very important that the unit is in a horizontal
position.
