CONTROL TONE

When you press a button, a beep will emit from the transceiver.
To turn the beep tone on or off:

Enter the Setting mode {p.30}.

Press the button programmed as [Channel Up] or [Channel
Down] to select "

Press the button programmed as [Channel Menu] then press the button
programmed as [Channel Up] or [Channel Down] to select your desired
value.

Press the button programmed as [Channel Menu] to confirm the selection,
then press the PTT switch or the Side button to exit to the operation mode.

SQUELCH LEVEL

You can adjust the default squelch level of the transceiver.

Press the button programmed as [Channel Up] or [Channel
Down] to select "

Press the button programmed as [Channel Menu] then press the button
programmed as [Channel Up] or Channel Down] to select your desired
value.

Note:
◆ In digital operation, Squelch Level is fixed at level 1.

Press the button programmed as [Channel Menu] to confirm the selection,
then press the PTT switch or the Side button to exit to the operation mode.

No beep sounds.
Increasing the value increases the volume.
Adjust the volume with Power switch / Volume control.
It becomes large in the clockwise direction and decreases in the
counterclockwise direction.

If you want to receive weak signal, decrease Squelch Level, and
0 ~ 3
if unnecessary signal exist, increase Squelch Level.
