CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK

The battery pack is not charged at the factory; charge it before use.
Average battery pack life:
Transmit Power HIGH
Battery Saver on: 15.5 hours
Battery Saver off: 14 hours
Average times are calculated using 5% transmit time, 5% receive time, and
90% standby time.

Plug the AC adapter cable into the jack located on the bottom of the charger.

Plug the AC adapter into an AC outlet.

Slide a transceiver equipped with a battery
pack into the charging slot of the charger.
Make sure the metal contacts of the
battery pack mate securely with the
charger metal terminals.
The indicator lights red and charging
begins.
Transmit Power LOW
Battery Saver on: 16.5 hours
Battery Saver off: 15 hours
