Start Value

It is the screen where the treshold of Directional Reactive Over Power is set when the
protection is active. This level can be selected in the range of 10000x5W – 1x5W

Operate Delay
The operation delay is the value that determines the characteristic of the protection curve with
the delay type. In the case of Directional Reactive Over Power, the delay type must be DMT.
This delay is expressed by the term tI >> and can take a value between (0 – 150) s.

Reset Delay
According to the menu settings, exceeding 1000x5W and without breaker tripping, It was
selected to count the DMT (constant time) reset time (0.04 s) reactive power above the
1000x5W .Thus, after the current falls below the threshold, 40 ms will be counted. If the
threshold is not exceeded until the end of this period, the protection function trip time counter
will be reseted. Reset delay thresholds are in the range of (0-60).

Hysteresis
It allows the selection of the minimum and maximum values for the protection to be activated
by entering the entered value in percentages and the same value being switched off in
percentage. For example, if the Directional Reactive Over Power start value is set to
1000x5W, the hysteresis value is set to 5%, Protection is active when it exceeds 1000x5W;
protecton is disactive when it falls 950x5W. This hysteresis value can be selected from 1% to
20%.
