4.6.10 Group Settings -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The settings to be made in a protection relay used in the ring system vary according to the
direction of feeding of the ring. If two different sets of settings are created in the protection
relay by taking this situation into consideration, if the feeding direction of the ring changes,
the settings of the relevant relays can be made quickly by selecting the appropriate one of the
pre-set setting groups. This saves time in feed direction maneuvers and shortens the duration
of power failure. The device has 8 independent setting groups to meet these and similar
scenario needs. Protection group selection; the relay can be made via a remote control system
or computer communication via a relay.

Alarm Settings

The alarm settings are listed under Main Menu> Configuration> Alarm Settings Alarm. This
screen is used to set the alarm deletion to Auto or Manual and to hide and display the
threshold alarm. The display of the Alarm Settings on the device is as follows.
