Current Protection Settings

Phase overcurrent protection settings are located on the device under this sections: Menu>
Protection Settings> Current Protection Settings.
Relay protection of the line / motor current protection briefly; operates according to the
principle of deactivating the protected part by comparing the current information to the relay
with the current information assigned in the protection functions
The function symbols in the device setting screen are displayed according to IEC 61850, IEC
60617 or IEEE ANSI standards according to user selection. Function symbol selection

The device has the following current protection functions:
• ANSI 50 / 51P - Phase Overcurrent Protection
• ANSI 50 / 51N - Earth Overcurrent Protection
• ANSI 49 - Thermal Overload Protection
• ANSI 67P - Directional Phase Overcurrent Protection
• ANSI 67N - Directional Earth Overcurrent Protection
• ANSI 37P - Phase Low Current Protection
• ANSI 46 - Negative Component Overcurrent Protection
If a curve other than DMT (ANSI / IEC Def. Time) is selected in the tip Delay Type bir
selection screen for current protections; TMS settings are displayed in the menu. Likewise, if
the fixed time curves are selected, the related settings remain on the screen and the operation
delay setting is used during the protection. The following two screenshots show the selection
of the fixed time operation and reset selection and other operation and reset curves selections.
