4.5.2 Function Symbol

The selection of the protection types in the device is made from this screen. IEC 61850, IEC
60617 or IEEE-ANSI function symbols can be selected. The protection designation in the
protection setting menus is made according to the selection of the function symbol. The
function symbol settings are listed under yer Main Menu> System Settings> Function Symbol
on the device.

The sample function symbol displays on the device are as follows. The selected protocol
allows changes in the threshold values in the protection settings to be changed. The
representations of the protocols in the protections are included in the tables below the relevant
protection.
