46-Negative Sequence Overcurrent Protection

Phase overcurrent protection settings are located on the device under Menu> Protection
Settings> Current Protection Settings> Negative Component Overcurrent Protection.
This protection; It aims to detect unbalanced loads caused by asymmetrical voltages, phase
failures, broken conductor failures. When the protection is active, in case of a fault, the
function starts when the negative component exceeds the current set limit.
Negative Sequence Overcurrent Protection protections are indicated with I2>, I2>>,
I2>>> in IEC 60617 Standards ; with NSI_PIOC_1, NSI_PIOC_2, NSI_PIOC_3 in IEC
61850 Standards; with 46P-I-1, 46P-I-2, 46P-I-3 in IEEE/ANSI Standards.
