Using the RS51 Mobile Computer

2.1.5. BATTERY TEMPERATURE ANOMALY

High ambient temperature or keeping using RS51 mobile computer while charging might
results in battery temperature rises. RS51 mobile computer will automatically suspend
charging battery or shut down for safety purpose. Once the battery temperature cools down
to normal temperature, battery charging could be proceeded again.
Using RS51 mobile computer under low-temperature environment may cause the device
shut down automatically. If the battery temperature is at or even while
0°C lower than 0°C
charging, the red Status LED in the front panel blinks with a warning window popup to
remind the user to disconnect the charger, and RS51 mobile computer will automatically
suspend charging the battery.
For battery life, please unplug the charger immediately and charge your RS51 mobile
computer under appropriate temperature conditions.
