To change the rating level
1 Select "Rating" on the setup menu, then
press c.
2 Enter the password using the number
buttons, then press ENTER.
3 Change the rating level, then press ENTER
(see page 42).
To change the password
1 Select "Password" on the setup menu, then
press c.
2 Enter the password using the number
buttons, then press ENTER.
3 Select "Change", then press ENTER.
4 Follow steps 3 and 4 of "Setting the
Password" on the 42 page.
To clear the password
1 Select "Password" on the setup menu, then
press c.
2 Enter the password using the number
buttons, then press ENTER.
3 Select "Clear", then press ENTER.
If you forget your 4-digit password
1 Select "Password" on the setup menu.
2 Enter the 6-digit number "210499" and
press ENTER. The 4-digit password that
you entered is cleared.

Selecting TV Aspect

Select the appropriate screen type of your
TV: conventional size screen (4:3) or wide-
screen (16:9).

Note
Depending on the DVD, "4:3 Letterbox" may be
selected automatically instead of "4:3 Panscan" or
vice versa.

Press X/x to select "TV Aspect".

Press c and then press X/x to
select the desired restriction level
and press ENTER.
Select this when you connect a
4:3 screen TV. Displays a wide
picture with bands on the upper
and lower portions of the screen.
Select this when you connect a
4:3 screen TV. Automatically
displays the wide picture on the
entire screen and cuts off the
portions that do not fit.
Select this when you connect a
wide-screen TV or a TV with a
wide mode function.
