Operating the disc player

 Open the CD drawer by briefly pressing
alternatively hold the  button pressed in on the F3100.
 Lay the disc onto the disc support of the drawer, printed face up.
 Place the pressure puck (supplied in the set) on the disc, as shown in the
illustration below.
The disc must not be played without the pressure puck in place, otherwise it
may be flung out of the support plate when playing; this may result in
damage to the disc and the disc player.
Do not touch the lens of the pick-up unit.
Please ensure that the pressure puck is correctly positioned, and is in
contact with the disc all round. If it is not level, please correct this before
you close the disc drawer.
Close the drawer by touching the
long press on  button on the remote control handset.
When the drawer is shut, the player reads the disc and checks it. The
screen displays the message 'Reading' during this process.
When the disc has been checked, the screen displays the total number of
tracks on the CD in the disc drawer, e.g.: '13 Tracks 60:27'. The disc is
now ready to be played.
The screen also displays the current operating state, e.g.
The playback process is started by briefly pressing the SELECT knob on the
front panel of the device, or the  button on the F3100 remote control
handset.
Playback begins, and the screen displays the operating state ( ) and the
number of the track currently being played: 'Track 1'.
After the last track the disc stops, and the screen reverts to a display of the
number of tracks on the disc, and the total running time.
If you press the  button after inserting a disc, the disc drawer closes,
and playback starts with the first track.
If the disc drawer is open, it also closes when you enter the number of a
track using the numeric buttons on the remote control handset.
Playback can be interrupted by pressing the  button. During the
