Playback resumes when you briefly press the  button a second time.
If you briefly press the  button during playback, the player jumps to
the start of the next track.
Briefly pressing the  button during playback causes the player to
jump to the start of that track. Repeated presses jump back to the preceding
tracks.
Briefly pressing the  button halts playback.
A long press on the  button opens the CD drawer.
Repeatedly press the  or  button on the F3100 until the
number of the track you wish to play appears on the screen or rotate the
SELECT knob on front panel until the desired track appears on the screen.
When you release the button, playback will halt for a moment, and then
resume with the selected track.
Alternatively you can enter the number of the desired track directly using the
numeric buttons (...) on the remote control handset.
 Briefly press the  button for fast forward.
 Briefly press the  button for rewind.
Pressing and holding the button increases the search speed. During
the search, the display shows the current track time.
The CD player in the PDT 3100 HV features various playback modes; the
current playback mode is displayed on the screen during playback.
Brief press:
Repeated brief presses of the  button cycle through the machine's
different playback modes.
The CD tracks or a playback program are repeated endlessly in
the preset order.

The track of the CD or a playback program currently playing is
repeated endlessly.
Normal playback of the whole disc, or normal playback of the
program.
