This chapter guides you through the steps necessary to install
the modem on a notebook or desktop computer.
The basic steps are:
1.
Insert the modem into the USB slot to install the modem
drivers and software.
2.
If the modem has not been pre‐activated, activate the
modem (as described in "Activation" on page 23).
Before you begin the installation process, ensure your
computer meets the requirements described below.

The modem is supported on notebook and desktop computers
