Activate/start the lift unit
The lift is switched on via the green (ON) button on the hand control.
A battery symbol lights up for about 2 seconds to indicate battery status.
If the lamp does not light, check to ensure that the emergency stop is not
activated.
Active safety
RiseAtlas has a built-in strap guard which prevents the lift from being
manoeuvred up or down unless the lift is loaded with at least 2 kg. The
purpose of this safety feature is to prevent the strap from being run in
and out without load, which may lead to shorter drops when the lift is
subsequently used.
The built-in strap guard RiseAtlas stops automatically when the lift strap is
not loaded e.g., when the slingbar is lowered to a bed. If this happens, the
strap must be stretched in order to be run down or up.
If the lift strap becomes twisted during lifting, RiseAtlas switches off auto-
matically and can only be run down.
To save battery charge, the lift unit switches off automatically after about
15 minutes of inactivity.
