Ensure that the user’s feet do not get caught between the footplate and the base when adjusting the base width. • MiniLift160 Classic is not intended for transporting users. It may only be used for short transfers. • Never move the lift by pulling on the actuator! •The lift must not be used or immersed in or under water including showering.

  • Page 12 Consider different patterns or ways of raising the client: Short setting of the standing arm results in a more forward leaning position that requires more muscle strength in the legs. Suitable for a shorter and more active client. Long setting of the standing arm is more suited for a weaker patient who needs training.
  • Page 13 Trouble-shooting If the lift or base-width adjustment cannot be activated, check the following: - That the emergency stop function is activated. - That all cables are properly and securely connected. Pull out the contact and plug it in again firmly. - That battery charging is not in progress.

Some procedures can help reduce electromagnetic interferences: • Use only Handicare cables and spare parts to avoid increased emissions or decreased immunity which can compro- mise the correct functioning of the equipment.

There- fore its RF emissions are very low and are not likely to cause any interference in nearby electronic equipment.
