The exporting and importing of settings is sensitive to the protection
relay content. Settings are exported and imported for one protection
relay at a time. The export files of a specific protection relay can be
exchanged between PCM600, WHMI and the actual physical
protection relay. To avoid errors and to efficiently manage the
exporting and importing of settings, for example, in a substation with
several relays, ensure that the names of the export files identify the
relay to which the file should be imported.
Ensure that the correct settings are imported to the correct relay.
Wrong settings may cause the relay to malfunction.
1. Select Import/Export on the menu bar.
2. Select Import/Export Settings from the drop-down list.
3. Click Choose File and choose the file to be imported.

4. Click Import Settings.
Wait until the file transfer is complete.

5. Click Store to commit the imported settings to the relay.
Wait until the import is complete.
