2.2 Part list

In the following Table 2. are only listed, named and coded the SDH units making up the Equipment Shelf.
Furthermore, for any item the position and the maximum quantity that can be allocated inside the subracks
are indicated too.
Such tables report the following information:
• Item "Name"
• The "Acronym" identifying the units is silk-screen printed on the front cover plate.
• "Size" of the boards.
Five cards size has been defined:
– Double Full (DF): the board is two slot high and two slot wide
– Full (F): the board is two slot high and one slot wide
– Half (H): the board is one slot high and one slot wide
– Normal (N): the board is 1,5 slot high and is one slot wide
– Double Normal (2N): the board is 1,5 slot high and is two slot wide
• "ANV part Numbers" (3ALXXXXX XXXX)
• "Maximum Quantity"
• Position (Slot) of the unit inside the equipment. Refer to Figure 8.at page 20 for slot numbering.
• Number of explanatory "Notes"
For other units physical data (slot dimensioning, allocation, etc) refer to the Common Technical
Handbook (ref.[2] on page 10)
Table 3.on page 24 reports all the explanatory notes.
