When the
display by itself, it means that the battery
will not provide enough power for a test.
You must change the battery.
To replace the battery, make sure that the
meter is turned off. Turn the meter over
and locate the battery compartment.
Step 1
Open the Battery Compartment.
Push up on the tab and pull the battery
compartment cover toward you.
Step 2
Remove the Old Battery.
Pull upward on the clear plastic tab. Insert
one 3.0 V (#2032 or equivalent) lithium
battery, making sure the positive "+" side
of the battery is facing up.
