Communication log messages
The most common cause of communications problems is that part of the setup was not
completed or is incorrect.
Confirm that a laptop or desktop computer on your network can perform the same
operation that you would like to perform from the ECG device. Once the operation is
working successfully from the laptop, ensure that the settings are the same on the ECG
device.
Simplify the operation to narrow down the root cause of the failure. For example:
If you try to connect the ECG device to your network via a wireless connection and it
fails, try to connect the ECG device using an Ethernet (wired) connection and see if
the operation works. If this works, then the issue is narrowed down to the wireless
settings.
If you try to send a record to a network share and it fails, try to print the record using
a network printer on your network. If this works, then the issue is narrowed down to
the network share settings.
