separate, insert orange filler tubes (Y), which are
provided with new conveyor belt splice kit. These
tubes prevent debris from gaining access to hinge
pin and stop it from wearing prematurely.

Bring two ends together and insert new conveyor

hinge pin (Z) through overlapping ends. Make sure
that conveyor hinge pin is centered between both
chains
Insert master link (P) on one chain end and Insert

cotter pin (AA) in master link hole. Bend both ends
of cotter pin to avoid master link removal on its own.
