The bipolar electrodes can be used for the
duodynamic interference currents.
The conductive rubber electrodes of the two
current circuits are located in two flexible
bipolar duo electrode (I and II) and
attached to a common patient cable. There are
two sizes available (small and standard).

Each bipolar electrode is placed into a
well wetted pocket so that the black

humidity carrier. The reverse side of the
pocket consists of transparent synthetic
material in order to be able to check the
correct positioning of the electrode.
Electrode position:
If the electrodes are placed opposite to
A)
each other (transverse current flow,
transregional), the cable connections
must point in opposite directions.
If the electrodes are placed on one side
B)
(longitudinal current flow), their cables
must point in the same direction.
Only in the case of these electrode positions
the flow paths of current of the two circuits
can transpose and optimal duodynamic
stimulation currents are generated.
In special cases (e.g. depending on the
application in the case of shoulder-hand
syndrome) it is possible to deviate from this
general rule.
