Read these instructions through completely before attempting installation. Model V9312H series of compact weatherproof housings is designed for smaller outdoor CCTV applications. A spring cover and latch provide easy access, and a weatherproof seal protects the camera/lens assembly from moisture.
Installation Unpacking and Inspection All Vicon equipment is tested and inspected before leaving the factory. It is the carrier’s responsibility to deliver the equipment in the same condition as it left the factory. Inspection For Visible Damage Immediately inspect the cartons upon delivery. Make a note of any visible damage on all copies of the carrier’s freight bill.

Remove the camera mounting plate from the housing by removing the two (2) Phillips head screws used to secure the plate. In the V9312H-HS-24, the thermostat must be removed from the clip to access the screw.
Wiring the Unit The V9312H housing is provided with two liquid-tight cable access fittings which allow routing of the video, power and control cables to the inside of the housing. One fitting is a compression fitting; the other is a conduit fitting, for use when conduit is used in an installation.
Shipping Instructions Use the following procedure when returning a unit to the factory: 1. Call or write Vicon for a Return Authorization (R.A.) at one of the locations listed below. Record the name of the Vicon employee who issued the R.A.
