The JS2000 incorporated Hall effect sensors to detect the position of each of the joystick axes. A side
effect of the use of these sensors is electrical noise superimposed on the output signal, nominally 20 mV
peak to peak. The application program can filter out this noise.
The use of the JS2000 in close proximity to sources of high magnetic fields is not recommended.
The JS2000 is designed to operate from a regulated 5 V DC ± 0.5 V DC supply that is free from transients.
Joystick outputs are ratiometric and are therefore a function of the input voltage.
