For children who can sit up unassisted, you may rotate
the child restraint to be more upright in Position 2.
Recheck Rear-Facing
Level Line
Redo the installation if not
reclined correctly for your
child.
For children who cannot sit
up unassisted, the level line
NOTE: You may need to place
a tightly rolled towel(s) or foam
pool noodle(s) under the front
of the base to help achieve the
correct recline.
Check often to be sure padding
is still in place and the belt is
tight.

Check the tightness of the
install often to make sure it
has not loosened.

Before you begin installing the seat
into your vehicle, did you check:
Your child's weight and height?
5-40 lb (2.3-18 kg) and
19-40 in. (48-101.6 cm)

Do you need to make adjustments to the
harness/headrest height or the buckle position?

Remove Lower Anchor Belt
from Storage Location
Or if the lower anchor belt
was used Forward-Facing,
remove it from the Forward-
Facing belt path so both
connectors are on the same
side of the seat.

Thread the connector without
the adjuster closest to it
through the
