Before you begin installing the seat
into your vehicle, did you check:
Your child's weight and height? See page 32.
Your child's fi t? See page 10.
Do you need to make adjustments to the
harness/headrest height or the buckle position?

Install Anti-Rebound Bar
You must install the anti-
rebound bar to use this seat in
Rear-Facing Mode. See page
21.
Place Car Seat Rear-Facing
in Back Seat
The anti-rebound bar should
make contact with the vehicle
seat back, but it does not need
to be flush with the vehicle seat
back.

Recline the Car Seat
Pull out on recline handle and
push top of child restraint
back.

Check Rear-Facing Level
Line
The level line on shell must be
parallel with the ground using
either position 3 or 2.
Check if Your Vehicle

Belts Will Work With This
Child Restraint
This is very important
because
belts will work with child
restraints.
Review pages 26-29 and your
vehicle owner's manual to determine what kind of vehicle
belt you have and how to lock a child restraint in place.
