Distance Limitations
The maximum allowable distances of a 2500-series telephone from the DEFINITY G1, G2, G3,
System 75, or System 85 cabinet are shown in the table below.

Power Requirements
The 2500-series telephone is powered by the tip and ring leads. It does not require any external
power supply.
Power Failure Operation
The 2500-series telephone can be used as an emergency station during power failure transfer
conditions.
