Distance Limitations

The maximum allowable distances of a 7103A voice terminal from the DEFINITY G1, G2, G3,
System 75, or System 85 cabinet are shown in the table below.

1. The 7103A cannot be used with the TN746 Port Circuit Pack.

Power Requirements

The 7103A voice terminal is powered by the tip and ring leads. If the 7103A voice terminal is
equipped with any adjunct, auxiliary power will be required for the adjunct. Refer to the
ADJUNCT POWER section of this manual.

Power Failure Operation

The 7103A voice terminal cannot be used as an emergency station during power failure transfer
conditions.
