Using the Filter
Monitor
The Filter Monitor tells you when the filter needs to be
cleaned. When the amount of dirt
on the filter reaches a level that
would affect cooling perfomance, a
red flag appears under the words
"FILTER MONITOR" on the control
panel.
IMPORTANT:
The MODE Control must be set to HIGH
COOL for the Filter Monitor to work. If the MODE Control
is set to a lower fan speed, turn the setting to HIGH to
check the filter. Then return the MODE Control to your
desired setting.
Normal
operating
sounds
When your air conditioner is operating normally, you may hear sounds such as:

Droplets of water hitting the condenser, causing a
"pinging" or "clicking" sound. The water droplets
