Assembly of seals

4.7.8.1

Single mechanical seal

1. Place the stationary part of the seal
in the rotor case. Ensure that the pin in
the rotor case fits into the groove in
the stationary part of the seal.
2. Put O-ring (0083) on the stationary
seal face. Place the stationary seal face
with O-ring into the rotor case. Ensure
that the pins in the stationary part of
the seal are fitting into the grooves in
the stationary seal face.
3. Put O-ring (0082) on rotating seal face.
Place the rotating seal face with O-ring
into the rotor.
Ensure that the pins in the rotor are
fitting into the grooves of the rotating
seal face.
