Adjusting the recording level
manually
(1) Set the REC LEVEL switch to MANU.
(2) Turn REC LEVEL to adjust the sound level so
that the PEAK indicator does not light up
(preferably between –12 dB and 0 dB). You
can adjust the level of each channel
separately.
We recommend using headphones (not supplied)
to monitor the sound when you adjust.
You can use AUDIO MONITOR to monitor the L,
R, or stereo sound.

To attenuate the recording level
Set the MIC switch to ATT.
•Normally set to off (green position)
•When recording very loud sounds, set to ATT
To reduce wind noise
If there is a loud wind, set the BUILT-IN MIC
switch to WIND, however, low frequency input
signal will weaken.
To change the directionality of the
microphone
Set DIRECTION SELECT to the desired position
(0°/90°/120°).
When set to 0° the sound is in monaural.

(1) Ponga el selector REC LEVEL en MANU.
(2) Gire REC LEVEL para ajustar el nivel del
sonido de forma que el indicador PEAK no se
encienda (preferiblemente entre
–12 dB y 0 dB). Usted podrá ajustar el nivel
de cada canal por separado.
Le recomendamos que utilice auriculares (no
suministrados) para escuchar el sonido cuando
ajuste.
Usted podrá utilizar AUDIO MONITOR para
escuchar el sonido del canal izquierdo (L), del
derecho (R), o sonido estéreo.

Para atenuar el nivel de grabación
Ponga el selector MIC en ATT.
• Normalmente desactívelo (posición verde).
• Cuando grabe sonidos muy fuertes, póngalo en
ATT.
Para reducir el ruido del viento
Si hay viento fuerte, ponga el selector BUILT-IN
MIC en WIND. Sin embargo, la señal de entrada
de baja frecuencia se debilitará.
Para cambiar la direccionalidad del
micrófono
Ponga DIRECTION SELECT en la posición
deseada (0°/90°/120°).
Si lo pone en 0°, el sonido será monoaural.
