Creating a desired picture
without changing the exposure
When the aperture value is F11, the
shutter speed is 1/50, and the gain
level is 0 dB, adjust the aperture
value manually to F4, for example.
When you change the aperture, shutter speed or
gain level by 1 step, the exposure changes by 1.0
EV for shutter speed and 0.5 EV for aperture and
gain.
If you change the aperture value from F11 to F4
in the above example, the exposure from
aperture control becomes brighter by 6 steps (+3
EV). Adjust the shutter speed and the gain so
that the exposure becomes darker by –3 EV to not
change the total exposure.
Example 1: changing only the shutter
speed
To reduce the exposure by –3 EV using the
shutter speed, you should increase the speed 3
steps. Change the shutter speed from 1/50 to 1/
425 (1).
Example 2: setting the shutter speed
to 1/1000 and changing the gain level
When the shutter speed is changed from 1/50 to
1/1000 the EV from the shutter speed control
changes to –4 EV. To maintain total exposure, +1
EV (2 steps) should be added by increasing the
gain level. Change the gain level from 0 dB to +6
dB (2). Note that when you set the gain level
higher, the picture may be distorted.

•When recording outdoors, the brightness of a
subject may be affected by weather.
•When recording conditions change, we
recommend that you reset each item.

de apertura será 6 pasos (+3 EV) más brillante.
Ajuste la velocidad de obturación y la ganancia
de forma que la exposición se vuelva –3 EV más
obscura a fin de no cambiar la exposición total.
Ejemplo 1: Cambio de la velocidad
de obturación solamente
Para reducir la exposición –3 EV utilizando la
velocidad de exposición, tendrá que aumentar la
velocidad 3 pasos. Cambie la velocidad de
exposición de 1/50 a 1/425 (1).
Ejemplo 2: Ajuste de la velocidad de
exposición a 1/1000 y cambio del
nivel de ganancia
Cuando cambie la velocidad de exposición de 1/
50 a 1/1000, el EV desde el control de velocidad
de obturación cambiará a –4 EV. Para mantener
la exposición total, habrá que añadir +1 EV (2
pasos) aumentando el nivel de ganancia. Cambie
el nivel de ganancia de 0 dB a +6 dB (2). Tenga
en cuanta que cuando aumente el nivel de
ganancia, es posible que se distorsionen las
imágenes.
Notas sobre el ajuste manual
• Cuando videofilme en exteriores, el brillo del
motivo puede verse afectado por el tiempo
atmosférico.
• Cuando cambien las condiciones de
videofilmación, le recomendamos que reajuste
cada ítem.
