Changing the lithium battery
in the digital camcorder
Your digital camcorder is supplied with a lithium
battery installed. When the battery becomes
weak or dead, the I indicator flashes in the
viewfinder for about 5 seconds when you set the
digital camcorder to CAMERA mode with the
POWER switch ON. In this case, replace the
battery with a Sony CR2025 lithium battery.
Use of any other battery may present a risk of
fire or explosion.
The lithium battery for the digital camcorder
lasts for about 1 year under normal operation.
(The lithium battery that comes installed at the
factory may not last 1 year.)
Notes on lithium battery
•Keep the lithium battery out of the reach of
children. Should the battery be swallowed,
immediately consult a doctor.
•Wipe the battery with a dry cloth to assure a
good contact.
•Do not hold the battery with metallic tweezers,
otherwise a short-circuit may occur.
•The lithium battery has positive (+) side and
negative (–) side as illustrated. Be sure to
insert the lithium battery with the positive
side facing out.
WARNING
The battery may explode if mistreated. Do not
recharge, disassemble, or dispose of in fire.
Cambio de la pila de litio
de la videocámara digital
Su videocámara digital se suministra con una
pila de litio instalada. Cuando la pila se debilite
o agote, en el visor parpadeará el indicador I
durante unos 5 segundos cuando ponga la
videocámara digital en el modo CAMERA con el
interruptor POWER en ON. En este caso,
reemplace la pila por otra litio CR2025 Sony.
La utilización de cualquier otra pila podría
suponer el riesgo de incendio o explosión.
La pila de litio para esta videocámara digital
durará aproximadamente 1 año en condiciones
normales de funcionamiento. (La pila de litio
instalada en fábrica puede que no dure 1 año.)
Notas sobre la pila de litio
•Mantenga la pila de litio fuera del alcance de
los niños. Si alguien traga la pila, consulte
inmediatamente a un médico.
•Frote la pila con un paño seco a fin de asegurar
su buen contacto.
•No sujete la pila con pinzas metálicas porque
podría cortocircuitarla.
•La pila de litio posee una cara positiva (+) y
otra negativa (–) como se muestra en la
ilustración.
Cerciórese de insertar la pila de litio con l
acara positiva hacia afuera.
