Identifying the parts
About the ID of the Remote
Commander
You can avoid having the digital camcorder
accidentally respond to signals from other
remote commanders by setting the VTR4/ID/
VTR2 switch to ID. Use the supplied Remote
Commander when you set the switch to ID.
When you use the Remote Commander for the
first time, register the ID following the procedure
below. Once you have registered the ID, you do
not need to do so again.
(1) Open the cover, then press MENU to display
the menu in the viewfinder.
(2) Press

then press EXECUTE.
(3) Press

(4) Set VTR4/ID/VTR2 on the Remote
Commander to ID.
(5) Point the Remote Commander at the Remote
Commander sensor on the digital camcorder
and press π on the Remote Commander.
After the beep sound, the ID of the Remote
Commander is registered, and the
COMMANDER is set to ID in the menu
system.
(6) Press MENU to erase the menu display.

Identificación de partes
Sobre el código de
identificación (ID) del
telemando
Usted podrá evitar que la videocámara digital
responda accidentalmente a las señales de otros
telemandos poniendo el selector VTR4/ID/VTR2
en ID. Utilice el telemando suministrado
después de haber puesto el selector en ID.
Cuando utilice el telemando por primera vez,
registre el ID realizando el procedimiento
siguiente. Después de haber registrado el ID, no
necesitará volver a hacerlo.
(1) Abra la cubierta y presione MENU para hacer
que se visualice el menú en el visor.
(2) Presione

COMMANDER, y después presione
EXECUTE.
(3) Presione
o
(4) Ponga VTR4/ID/VTR2 del telemando en ID.
(5) Apunte con el telemando hacia el sensor de
control remote de la videocámara digital y
presione π del telemando.
Después de un pitido, se registrará el ID del
telemando, y COMMANDER se ajustará a ID
en el sistema de menús.
(6) Presione MENU para borrar la visualización
del menú.
