NAS e7000 v2 Quick Start Guide
When connecting to a Modular SAN Array, the FCA2101 firmware must be
flashed to 3.82a1 prior to running the SAN Connection tool.
SecurePath (the multipath fiber software for the Modular SAN Array) is
included with the HP StorageWorks NAS device.
When connecting to the Modular SAN Array, versions 8.6 and 8.7 of the
firmware are supported.
If connecting to a Virtual Array, the FCA2101 firmware must be flashed to
3.90a7 prior to running the SAN Connection tool.
When connecting to a VA in conjunction with multipath fiber, AutoPath is
required. AutoPath licensing is not included with the HP StorageWorks NAS
device and must be purchased separately. However, the AutoPath software is
included in the HP StorageWorks NAS Device for availability at the time of
installation. Purchase of the license is required.
If connecting to a Disk Array XP, the FCA2101 firmware must be flashed to
3.90a7 prior to running this tool.
When connecting to a XP in conjunction with multipath fiber, AutoPath is
required. AutoPath licensing is not included with the HP StorageWorks NAS
device and must be purchased separately. However, the AutoPath software is
included in the image for availability at the time of installation. Purchase of
the license is required.
If connecting to an Enterprise Virtual Array, the FCA2101 firmware must be
flashed to 3.82a1 prior to running the SAN Connection tool.

When connecting to the Enterprise Virtual Array, version 2.0 of the VCS is
supported.
