Installing the lower triple clamp

(HERLINGS REPLICA, FACTORY EDITION)

Open cable holder
harness.

Remove screw
–
Remove screw
–
Take off the upper triple clamp with the handlebar and
place to one side.

Cover the components to protect them against dam-
age.
Do not kink the cables and lines.

Remove O-ring
–
Remove protective ring
–
Remove the lower triple clamp with steering stem.
–
Remove the upper steering head bearing.

Main work
–
Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage,
and grease.
High viscosity grease (
–
Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem. Mount
upper steering head bearing.

Check whether upper steering head seal
tioned.
–
Slide on protective ring
