Note: When the Data Hold function is enabled the REL, MAX/MIN, and °C/°F buttons are disabled. Relative Function Press the REL button to store the current measurement. The meter will display the difference between any new measurement and the stored measurement. Press the REL button again to exit Relative Function mode and resume normal operation. continued... If the meter is turned off then back on, the "Auto Power Off" feature will be enabled again. Humidity Calibration Procedure In order to calibrate the meter humidity calibration standards are required (REED R9933, R9975 or R9980). If the meter has been exposed to extreme conditions or it has not been used in a long period of time the meter should be calibrated by following steps 1 through 6 below. Turn the meter off. -
Page 7: Restoring Factory Settings
When the LCD flashes, press the REL button to enter calibration mode. This will be indicated by "CAL 1" on the LCD. Insert the tip of the meter into the 33%RH Humidity Calibration Standard (REED R9933) then press the MAX/MIN button to start the adjustment. The calibration adjustment will be confirmed by a long beep. The meter will then display "CAL 2" to calibrate the second calibration point. Insert the tip of the meter into the 75%RH Humidity Calibration Standard (REED R9975) then press MAX/MIN button to start the adjust- ment. The calibration adjustment will be confirmed by a long beep. -
