Removing the Motor
1. Stop the engine.
2. Disconnect the fuel connector, the remote control cable, the
battery cables, bracket fixing bolts and nuts etc., from the
motor.
3. Remove the motor from the hull and completely drain the
water from the outboard. Be sure to keep the engine higher
than the propeller whenever you carry the motor.
Carrying the Motor
Be sure to keep the engine vertical posture whenever you carry
the motor.
NOTE: If you carry the motor horizontal posture, keep the power
head higher than the propeller.
IMPORTANT: Beware of explosion danger. Spilled and vapored
gasoline may easily catch fire and explode. Be sure to fully
discharge gasoline from the carburetors when transporting the
engine. Wipe off spilled gasoline with a rag.
Storing the Motor
Keep the motor verical posture when you store it.
