G) Storing the barbecue
in order to extend its service life, it is
recommended to protect it with a Barbecook 
cover and to store it indoors or in a dry place
(under shelter) after each use.
USEFUL HINTS AND
PRECAUTIONARy MEASURES
1. do not use indoors.
2. always place the barbecue on a stable floor
away from flammable and meltable objects.
3. the Quickstop 
must be emptied after each
®
use.
4. do not use alcohol or petrol for lighting or
fanning the fire. only use fire lighters that
comply with en1860-3 !
5. attention please ! this barbecue will
become very hot, do not move it until the fire
is fully extinguished and the barbecue has
cooled down completely.
6. WarninG ! keep children and animals
a safe distance away from the barbecue,
protect yourself from the fire. never leave the
barbecue unattended.
7. to be on the safe side, we recommend that
you always keep a bucket of water or sand
in the vicinity of the burning barbecue. for
models equipped with a Quickstop 
advisable to fill it with water before each use.
8. never grill in flames. before grilling, wait until
the charcoal is covered with a thin layer of
ash. for fatty foods, we recommend the use
of a grill pan.
9. always use dry and purified charcoal that
complies with nbn m 11-001 or en 1860-2.

comes with a 2-year warranty

against all manufacturing defects. this warranty
applies from the date of purchase, provided it is
used in accordance with these instructions.
the warranty is valid if used with a receipt
referencing serial number, which can be found
in the following locations : under the legs
(p. 2 #9) of your barbecue, on the manual and
on the packaging. the number starts with a "c"
®
followed by 15 numbers.
this Barbecook 
use. any wear, corrosion, deformation and
discoloration of parts that are directly exposed to
the fire is quite normal and will therefore under
no circumstances be considered as production
faults : it is the logical result of their use. hence,
the bottom grate can be warped after some time
and it is normal to replace this part .
Special precautionary measures for
enamelled parts. (non-compliance with teh
following is not covered by the warranty) :
• metal and/or sharp object can damage the
enamel.
• do not pour cold liquids into the hot kettle. as it
could damange the enamel.
• avoid bumping the barbecue into hard
surfaces. as you will damage the enamel.
Due to the specific enamelling process being
used, fine edges may not always be completely
coated with enamel. This is not considered a
manufacturing or workmanship defect, and is
therefore not covered by the warranty.
• When assembling enamelled parts, always use
the provided fibre washers, as they will prevent
enamel damage around the screw connections.

Special precaustionary measurs for stainless
steel parts. (non-compliance with the following
is not covered by the warranty) :
In order to prevent rust formation on stainless
steel parts, it is best to avoid any contact with
bleach, salt or iron. The environment in which
you use the barbacue may have a negative
impact on your appliance's service life. Less
favourable locations incluede the coastal areas,
near railways, in the neigbourhood of a swimming
pool.
