7.2 INSTALLING ELCOMASTER™ SOFTWARE
1. Place the CD in your PC. The software installation wizard should run automatically. If it does not run
automatically:
• Choose Start > Run
• Type D:AutoCIS (where 'D' is the letter of your CD drive)
• Click OK. The software installation wizard will run.
2. Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
Follow the instructions included with ElcoMaster™ to interface your gauge with your PC.
7.3 USING THE DOCK AS A MAGNETIC HOLDER
If the Dock is going to be used as a magnetic holder:
1. Secure the gauge to the Dock by tightening the hexagon head screw into the back of the gauge.
2. Connect the external surface temperature probe supplied with the Dock to the green connector on the
side of the Dock; ensure that the two legs of the connector are in the correct position (note that one leg
is wider than the other). The external surface temperature probe will be displayed as Te when
connected.
3. Press the magnetic probe against the ferrous steel surface.
4. Taking care, place the back of the instrument against the surface, top first, then place the lower part of
the instrument against the surface.
