through the list or slide your finger up or down the list slowly.

Touch the contact you want to call to place the call.
Note
If the number you want to call does not appear on the screen, continue dialing
the number and then press CALL to place the call.
Tip
During a call, press the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons on the left panel of the phone to
adjust the in-call volume.
To make an emergency call
On the Phone screen, dial the international emergency number for your locale (for
example, 000), and press CALL.
Notes
• When the screen is locked, you need to unlock it first before you can make an
emergency call. If your phone is in sleep mode, press any button to wake up the
phone and then press the MENU button to unlock the screen.
• Additional emergency numbers may be included in your SIM card. Contact your
wireless service provider for details.
To make an international call
1.
Touch and hold the number 0 key on the phone keypad until the plus (+) sign
appears. The plus (+) sign replaces the international prefix of the country that
you are calling.
2.
Enter the full phone number that you want to dial, and then press CALL.
The full phone number includes the country code, area code (without the
leading zero, if any), and phone number.
For example: +1-909-13456789, which is in the following format: +<country
code>-<area code>-<phone number>.
