Touch Bluetooth settings, then select the Discoverable check box to make
the phone discoverable to other Bluetooth devices that are within range.
Important
To change the phone name
The phone name identifies your phone in a Bluetooth network.
1.
Make sure that you have turned Bluetooth on.
2.
On the Wireless controls screen, touch Bluetooth settings > Device name.
3.
Enter the name for your phone in the dialog box, then touch OK.
To pair and connect a Bluetooth hands-free headset or car kit
You can connect your phone to a Bluetooth hands-free headset or a Bluetooth
car kit and use those devices to send and/or receive calls. Before you can use a
Bluetooth hands-free headset or car kit, you must pair it first with your phone.
Important
1.
Make sure that you have turned Bluetooth on. See "To turn on Bluetooth and
make the phone discoverable" earlier in this chapter.
2.
Press HOME, then press MENU, and then touch Settings.

Touch Wireless controls > Bluetooth settings. Your phone will start to scan
for Bluetooth devices within range and will display all detected devices below
the Devices section.
Tip

Touch the hands-free headset or car kit in the list to start pairing.
Your phone will be discoverable for up to two minutes. You must remain in this
screen for the phone to remain discoverable.
The phone only supports headsets and hands-free Bluetooth profiles. If you try
to connect the phone to a Bluetooth device that is not a hands-free headset or
car kit, you will receive an "Unable to connect" message.
If you don't find the device in the list, press MENU and then touch Scan for
devices to scan again.
